Can you bequeath an artificial organ if it is derived from your own cells? Who has access to sensitive data from fitness trackers or food diaries? How do we protect our privacy?

And what does it mean when, thanks to genetic analysis, we can predict things we might not even want to know?

Medicine is advancing at a breathtaking pace and presenting us with new legal and ethical challenges. What rules do we need to shape the future of medicine responsibly? Who decides on the use of new technologies?

And how can the law even keep pace with these rapid developments?

The event on 9 October at the Zukunftsmuseum in Nuremberg will explore these and other fascinating questions. Following an interactive tour of the ‘Body and Mind’ exhibition, which showcases current innovations and possible future scenarios, the Forum Recht Foundation, in collaboration with the Zukunftsmuseum, invites you to a discussion in the engaging ‘fishbowl’ format.
