From scepticism to enjoyment? A place for edible insects on our plates

 

Lecture, discussion and tasting buffet featuring various insect-based foods.

 

Hungry? How about a juicy insect burger or a crisp salad with insect topping? Certainly a good choice from a climate protection and nutritional point of view, but many consumers are hesitant or categorically reject insects as food. Why is that? And what can be done to bring more edible insects to our plates?

We would like to discuss these questions with you this evening. After a brief insight into the research, you are invited to sample various insect-based foods at our tasting buffet.
